McLaughlin Woodworks has a rich family history of crafting beautiful and functional pieces from raw lumber. We have been providing top-quality custom furniture services to clients in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington D.C. since 2019.
Our founder, Patch McLaughlin, is a Marine Corps veteran and a talented woodworker who creates unique, high-quality pieces. With a background in photojournalism, Patch brings a unique, visual, and detail-oriented perspective to every project he works on. He's joined in the shop by his dad, Bruce, a retired ship captain and hobbyist luthier, and Walter, the trusty shop dog.
Starting as a small operation in 2019 to supplement Patch’s income at a small, local reclaimed lumber business, McLaughlin Woodworks has gained a reputation for excellence in craftsmanship and design. Today, our client list continues to grow as we work with homeowners and businesses to create stunning pieces that are practical and beautiful.
